She's rough but I ambitiously decided to get this car so I have an endless supply of tinkering to be had whenever I feel like it. I can choose mechanical or electrical depending on my mood. Its not registered (AUS, VIC) And I'm not leglly allowed o drive 12 cylinder s yet anyway (1993 750il)
The engine and transmission is much happier than the one I looked at awhile ago. She glides and shifts to warp speed on request, (the back/forward on driver seat didn't work so it is stuck at further back possible, very uhhh interesting driving posture made me melt away into the torque haha) interior is pitiful though, two small dents on exterior which will probably come out. Paint is pretty much all there. Brakes are bit clunky sounds like front left rotor issue.
Expect a couple of threads from me as I work my way through resurrecting this car
If anyone has good resources or contacts in Victoria I would much appreciate them!
Congrats.
Shogun tricks and tips for the E32 series are HERE!
For whatever reason, the Government in the Eastern states have decreed that driving an engine of "Vee configuration" will somehow increase the road toll. Nevermind there are rice burners with 4 cylinders capable of far more than any 25y/o BMW ever would be (realistically).
My response: Stop the cause, not the weapon. Figure out why teens are wrapping themselves round trees, and work to prevent it. It isn't the cars fault for being "too powerful," its wankers that can't drive, and weren't taught properly.
Yeah, drivers are indeed the issue. The FaceBook page of Australian Dash Cam Owners is epic and full of stupidity.
