I was cleaning the steering wheel with Leatherique and this happened. Look at the top of the wheel. Is this gunk or did I ruin it?

When a wheel gets worn like that, you will need to re-dye it using a leather dye. Apply several applications, and be sure to buff it out afterwards, that should make it look as good as new.

Just send it off for a re-wrap and thank yourself later. Dallas Custom Steering Wheel and COBY wheel do a great job for a fair price. Turnaround is usually within a week or two.

Yeah I re wrapped a wheel and it felt SOOOOO much better. Definitely get it done!
