Hello, I have a 325xi and the clutch pedal only starts to disengage at the very bottom of the travel. So I did some research and it brought me to the slave cylinder as being a common issue. So a new OEM one was $50 so I purchased one. I just installed it last night and bleed the system and am 100% sure its air free. I still have very little pedal engagement and I can't put it into gear. I just want to make sure I'm not over thinking this.
So, I've checked for leaks in lines, master cylinder, etc. Nothing. I'm thinking its the clutch master cylinder I need to replace.
What's everyone's thoughts?
Have you looked at the clutch bushings? Take a look at the link below; it may help you in diagnosing the issue.

I think you either have air in the system or the clutch release lever pivot (plastic piece that the release lever pivots on inside the bellhousing) is worn. Try reverse bleeding the clutch. Open the bleeder screw on the slave cylinder and pump fluid into the bleeder up to the reservoir. Since the air will naturally try to rise to the top why try to fight gravity. If that doesn't work you will probably have to pull the trans out. Could also be a problem with the self adjusting clutch mechanism. Did this problem happen after a clutch replacement? Or did it slowly get worse or was it all the sudden.
