    Help removing rain sensor

Previous owner had the windshield replaced at some point. There is a big air bubble where the rain sensor attaches so I need to remove it and remount it. It's really hard to get it off. I don't want to damage the sensor or the glass. Am I safe to use fishing line or will that damage the lens? Any other methods?

I got it off. Took some heat to soften it up. It's still in the 40s up,here
