Rod Bearing Shop in South Eastern PA (Reading, West Chester Area)

So I've been calling around to some local places that say they work on BMW and other Euro cars in the area. I express that i want My '08 E93 M3 to have the Rod bearings replaced as preventative maint. only to get some long winded answer as to why it shouldn't need that, that they don't do engine work or even the well known shop in the area, Dubble's, which stated "you should replace the engine"...seriously?

So i wanted to reach out and see if anyone in the area has had or knows anyone or a shop that can replace the rod bearings and does quality work? I'm a DIY'er with the best of them but i really would like someone with a trained eye and experience to handle this task for me. I want to stay as local as possible but feel that may not be an option...any referrals would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! I just called VAC today per a referral. Haven't heard of coin performance though?

Matt Coin, he's out that way. Look them up, I'd call them as well. Good guy.

Did you end up finding a shop/having it done?

VAC will do it but their price was a significantly higher than some places in NJ, however those places are 2.5+ hours from me. I really wanted Matt Coyne to take on the job as he is much closer, but his FB page has vanished it appears and i have no other way of contacting him. Kind of holding out that he will rejoin the FB community here soon. Do you have any suggestions?
