Done some searching, is Pin #1 off the diagnostic port still the best place to grab tach signal for my Traqmate?

That's what I did and it works well.
Ok, thanks. Plan is to grab that, throttle off the TPS and brakes off the brake lights...

That's exactly what I have.
With the TPS it increases my RPMs slightly at idle but doesn't impact drivability.
tach, vehicle speed, and brake switch are also handily available at the cruise control module connector behind the glove box.
Well that seems simpler. Know which color wires are for which there?

Mah ol' blog post has the colors and pinouts:

Thanks! Read the post, it didn't mention which pin/wire is for the brake switch on the cruise control module?

I never actually wired it up so i guess i forgot it on the blog.
It's in section 6571 here:
http://wedophones.com/Manuals/BMW/19...g%20Manual.pdf
Looks like pin 15 on the CC module connector (X22), blue/red wire.
Decided to mount up the Traqmate first then do the wiring later.
GPS antenna on the trunk lid, was the easiest place to route the wiring back to the box.
I passed the antenna through the tailight hole then reinstalled the tail light, then routed the wiring underneath all the trim.
I'm going to mount both Traqmate boxes on the top of the transmission tunnel right behind the center console. I need to get some industrial velcro to mount them.
Bought a tripod mount for the GoPro camera so it'd mount into my existing IO Port rollbar camera mount.
Then mounted the Traqmate display. I'll use velcro when I get it, just have double sided tape on it now. I needed to mount it someplace I can reach it while harnessed in, can see it and can easily plug the USB cable into it for data dumps. Again I routed the cable underneath the stock trim panels.
Next up is the wiring, only need 4-5 wires, will grab everything off that cruise control harness. Getting into and out of the trunk to route the wiring was a real chore! Thought I was stuck in there when I tried to get out, I'm not 20 years old anymore...

Ok, trying to wire this thing up now. I've grabbed switched power from the glove box light and piggy backed onto the ground there too.
I'm ready to grab my RPM and brake signal from the cruise control module. I've removed the glove box to get access to the module/harness but there are several there behind the glove box.
Which one is it? Anyone have a picture of it?
EDIT: Is it the very bottom module with the PINK harness connector?
TIA!

I don't remember, but i want to say it was a white connector and toward the bottom and on the right side. It's surprisingly hard to confirm via googling. You might have to dig into the manual i linked above to confirm. Worst case you compare the all the different connector's colored wires and pinouts to the X22 diagram in the manual to confirm it.
Bentley says its the bottom most module. Looking at the wiring diagram in the Bentley it seems like there's way more wires coming out of the plug than what I'm seeing in the car. However the color codes on the bottom most module do seem to correspond to the Bentley wiring diagram....
