Methanol Injection Tank Placement???

We're putting a progressive flow Snow methanol injection setup in an 84 728i (high compression) with a 102 turbo. Detonation at full boost won't go away with current fuels, AFR is steady at 12, and we really don't want to take any more timing out of it because it runs like crap when we do.

QUESTION: Where do we put the 3/4 gallon tank that's supposed to gravity feed the high pressure pump?

The turbo gear has taken up all the space and we don't even have a place for the washer bottle.

I've got mine mounted in the trunk with the pump below the tank. Teflon tubing brings the meth to the front.

Check where the SLS pump goes on cars so equipped, LR side of trunk behind that panel.

This setup has the supply hose, a "low-level" red LED for the tank and a green LED for "squirting now" which I guess is activated by the pump. If the tank is in the trunk, I need wires to the dash as well as the hose.

Sure would be simpler to have it all up front.

I thought about relocating the coolant tank over toward the engine and putting this one on the firewall in front of the driver but I haven't tried it on yet.

I think the pump can go there but the tank needs to gravity feed the pump.
