F10 vs F07 reliability/maintenance

Looking to purchase a high mileage 70k+ 5 series and wondering which one will be easier to maintain or is known to have less problems. If I go the 5 series route I'm looking at probably a 528 and if I get the gt I'd get the 535.

I like the gt for the added space. I plan on driving about 2k miles a month. And wondering which model would probably be less of a headache and is there anything I should worry about when looking at some of the models with high mileage.

Would really like to get a gt 3 series but it's tough to find one in my price point right now looking to spend around 15k.

I know bimmer's in general are more expensive to maintain but I also know some of the models have a lot more problems than others.

In short, if you're looking for more reliability and a lower maintenance cost; get the 528i - having a NA engine will be a lot less to maintain than a turbo motor. Whichever route you go, make sure to get a full PPI from an independent BMW shop. Please let us know if you have any questions.
