While researching some stuff earlier I came across some odd build codes that seem to be shared with all BMW's. Build codes are, for the most part, universal - so I'm wondering if these just may be a placeholder of sorts? Either way...

Seems like some BMW factory lunch hall numbers got mixed up in your car
They are universal build codes. I dont think any car comes equipped with 870/871/872. They must just be placeholders for future options or build packages
