    Rain sensor after windshield replacement

I just changed my wind shield and now when I put the wippers in position 1 they come on and don't stop. They won't stop unless I put them back to the neutral position. This wasn't the case before I replaced the windshield IMG_0486.jpg

I had the IR windshield installed and my issue was the gluing of the sensor to the glass...Its not 100% sealed...Glass shop said they tried their best...Said its almost impossible to get it perfect....ya right

I'd verify the connection first. If that's good look to re initializing the sensor. Timm has a write-up on his page that addresses this: http://www.meeknet.co.uk/e38/Rain_Sensor/Index.htm

Hopefully the shop actually took the black module off the old prism and swapped it to your new one instead of just unplugging the wire and tossing the glass with module. Is there a black plastic box snapped on the prism with a wire plugged into it? Hopefully the wire is just unplugged, not that the rain sensor module is expensive or anything. just a hassle
