Keep going till it blows? You finished your build really fast so I'm sure you can swap a built engine in when this one goes.

Ran some laps on a autocross track tonight. It was fun! Tires and suspension did well
track was a little too small for power set up but that ok
the hour trip each way was just as fun. No one to race but 4th and 5 th gear pull at 13 pounds puts you in the seat nicely
next week might do some laps on the big track
ithink she ready for 16 -17 psi
good weather tomorrow and might let her graduate. She has been a very good girl
Gonna try e46 brake conversion maybe this week

dad ( me) bouncing off the rev limiter, don't ask me why
breaking up a little in higher gears.
when I closed the spark plug gap, I went to .22
    gonna try .18
    the 17 pounds feels good

Looks like it was all worth it. Now don't go chasing waterfalls. Park the car for a while so it always feels fast .

    Question/ concern
when at idle out of gear, the idle is fluctuating from around 1k to 2k rpm
the afr guage goes from 12/14 to 18/19
i was told with E85 and larger injectors, this is normal, a miss fire ?
it seams to have gotten worse
    should I be concerned?

You mean the idle speed hunts from 1000 to 2000 rpms? That's not normal and would indicate a problem with the idle control valve

From what I have read I have seen that e46 330i brakes are a good upgrade for the e36 without having to change a bunch of parts like you would for the e36 m3 brakes

That's correct , but pad choice will make more of a difference.
You could have a 6 piston caliper with cheap junk pads vs a stock brake with some type of track hawk pad and the stock will smoke the 6 pot

Stock e36 M3 calipers with GOOD track pad, proper FLUID, decent vented rotors...and maybe some cooling ducts
will take you JUST AS FAR as the fancy pants BB kits on track days.

I'm confident some track track rat give you reason why this WON'T be enough,
but they're likely rich and ready to debate.

If your COMPETING, that's a different story.
