It depends on the severity of the damage and location. But generally done properly the car will handle as good as new when done.
Typically frame work is not cheap as it is very labor intensive and requires specialized tooling.
Ive repaired several of these cars after front end hits where the front rails have been out maybe an inch.. After repair they meet factory alignment specs and drive great.
