OK, officially count me in for driver side only. Thanks.
Chris
can you tell me the measurement from floor to the top mounting bolt for front and rear please
Are the pole positions narrower than the SPG XL and would these brackets work with them? I've yet to really see a definitive thread for plug and play seats for these cars.
Rear is 5.25" and front is 5.5" - I'm using the second front bolt which is 4.625" however
edit: I had thought about your situation, and you could presumably drill new holes in the floor mount to move the seat a little over an inch farther forward. This would allow you to use the top front bolt and get more tilt out of the seat. I may actually do this for the passenger side..

Recaro has the pole position seat bottoms as the same measurement, so they should work. The pole position has a narrower upper body and much lower seat belt mount holes. I've sat in both and read recaro specs, but I can't say for certain that the pole position will bolt up and fit as well as the SPG XL.
Tomorrow I have a little less work to get through at the office so I'll see what I can do about getting the order in.
Question: Should I pre-drill seatbelt mount holes or leave them blank so you can fit to your liking?
I have totals of:
Driver only: 1 set (cfries)
Passenger only: 1 set (99ls)
Driver + Passenger: 6 sets (bionicbelly, remotion, danomite, kornfeld, jb1856, tommy1394)

I would prefer that you do not drill the seatbelt holes on mine, thanks

Do we have an idea on price for one side vs both sides? Not sure if I missed that or not.

Two more questions:
-Can you post the distance from the roundel on the steering wheel to the corner your butt goes and the back and bottom of the seat meet? Or from the brake pedal to that point? I want to get a sense of how far back the seat is.
-Is it possible to use sliders with mounts like this? I'm guessing the answer is a solid no, but I figure it can't hurt to ask.

Did I miss the pricing???
I'm definitely interested, but I'd like to know the price for a set first. LOL

You're on your own for sliders! That's correct, these push the seat back as far and as low as possible. There is a lower setting that will work for cars without door panels and interior trim that is 7/8" lower than I am running.
I can't tell from your pictures, but is the back of the seat touching the wall behind seat or is there still space/gap behind the seat?
This appears to be a necro thread, but I'm curious if it happened. Are there any left? How much extra headroom results from this mod? Thanks!
I've since dropped the seat a peg lower. It now contacts the seat back carpet and I had to trim a hole in the b pillar cover but it sits easily 3" lower than stock

Holy Thread Revivalllll. Does anyone happen to have this guys contact information? I am hoping and praying he still has the CAD drawings as I would love to snag them from him!
Old files but these should be them. You can move the holes on the lowest flange to bring the seat closer to the steering wheel if needed. The position in CAD has the seat backed all the way into the firewall. Hope this helps!
