Having studied the book and online materials, and looked thru threads, I'm getting comfortable with renovation prospects for my doors' window regulators - but I can't find much of anything on the rear windows in my 1989 325i convertible. Are there threads or resources available that cover this?
I've got the rear panels out at the moment and was hoping to fix some annoying squeak/rattle action before re-assembly. But every time I approach the project, I'm undone by the unfamiliarity and lack of access those rear panels present.
All 4 windows go up and down consistently but slowly, seeming to strain against 28 years of gunking-up grease; the driver-side rear rattles and squeaks with every little road bump.
Hello - take a look below to our site's DIY article on the E30 window regulator. Hope this helps!
