    I pulled the fuse:/ thought that was the way the do it?

    Quick update, I used a fuel line clamp to block the drain hose from the CCV to dipstick tube and drove it around for about 10mins, pulled the throttle body again and no oil so that's good.

    But it still smokes a little and I found this on the oil cap after the drive.

    Coolant level looks normal but I just topped it off and will drive it again to double check.




    I'm starting to think I have/had two problems, the CCV and head gasket.

    The fuse is the correct way to do it.

    That looks to be a problem. You may be writing a "while I'm in there .. " post soon.
