I have a $200-300 limit for an aftermarket exhaust on my 1989 Bmw 325is. I for sure want it louder and deeper than the stock exhaust. An exhaust that surely fits my car as well Any recommendations ? (Links are helpful)
no worries - with that budget in mind, just apply this in a back and forth motion anywhere on the exhaust system between the catalytic converter and muffler.

^ It's true though. My rally car came with the stock muffler rusted off the pipes. Sounds awesome for a race car, very brappy above 5000rpm. I wouldn't want to DD it.
OP, you need to scan craigslist, ebay, and forums for a used exhaust. I found my full stainless steel Stebro for $160. It sounds and looks great.
If your e30 runs bad, switch to Megasquirt first. Then try new spark plugs, cap and rotor, wires, oxygen sensor, crank shaft position sensor, coolant temp sensor, air flow meter, idle control valve, throttle position sensor, digital motor electronics unit, harmonic balancer, fuel injectors, engine harness...
I bought a scorpion exhaust from BAVAUTO - I like it. stainless steel - sounds nice - looks nice.. $400 retail.. BAVAUTO will put them on sale every now and then.. https://www.bavauto.com/exhaust/mufflers.html
I hear the ANSA is a nice setup. I think all of these have a youtube video of sound if you do a search..
