Lightbulb How to Wrap Your BMW

The most widely used of these new techniques is wrapping, a process that places a thin layer of colored vinyl over your car’s paint to … Continue reading How to Wrap Your BMW →

Might depend on the paint job.
Not so much a signature as a cry for help.

Hold on, saw this in a cartoon once...think I can pull it off.

Vinyl is always cheaper than any comparable paint job. Materials are cheaper and it requires less prepwork and shorter application time and doesnt need any special tools.

Beats the heck out of plasti-dip as far as temporary ways to change the color thats for sure. I actually quite like vinyl wraps, as long as its not black. Id really like to do my M coupe in matte white but everyone tells me white starts to turn brown after a short while under the sun

What's wrong with black vinyl? I am about to bring my car for a full wrap this coming Sunday but still on the edge about the color. I have the Black Sapphire Metallic stock color right now.

    I'm actually thinking about going:

    • Satin Black
    • Combo of Satin Black and Gloss Black
    • Just going full Gloss Black just for protection but it seems lame. Defeats the purpose of getting a wrap for me. Wrap=New Look.
    • and still thinking about other combo...
