BMW 745i won't start

Ok so I was driving my car downtown and all of a sudden I get a transmission fault error on the dash, I'm at a red light intersection and I pull into an auto zone and before I stop completely in a parking spot the car stutters and shuts itself off, the transmission goes into park and it won't start anymore, it's been like that for 2 weeks. I have already changed the power supply module and charged the battery and it still won't start, any suggestions on what could be wrong?

Well first thing, I would attempt to communicate with the vehicles computers,
as they are trying to notify you with the dash warnings.
A diagnostic scan performed with a BMW specific scan tool or BMW software is needed.
