I think it's fine as long as you put something under it that adds enough power to shut up the critics. I have 700 rwhp and my car looks stock, so it's not my style, but I have no complaints about cars that look modded and fast as long as they are fast.

So you would be concerned because of your perception that someone had a falsely inflated value of themselves for reasons that do not fit the status quo thus presenting as a threat to the status quo on pride in ones ride?
Why is someone thinking they're bosshog for having stupid nostrils pose a problem to people?

You're asking a BMW biased forum why something un-BMW is not so welcomed. Let that one sink in for a while.

To each their own. Your car, do as you please but you need to be open to other peoples' subjective opinion about that hood and front bumper combination. Its not subtle.

In a nutshell the majority of BMW owners are purists and believe BMW did Gods work on the body style and it shouldn't be modified aside from trim, headlights, wheels and lowering.

You picked up an E36, by the way. Get with the program here.

You acquired a car that I would have passed on. Perhaps you can drag it, kicking and screaming, back into reality but why get involved in the first place? Ugly, with a capital Ug.

Aiiiiight, well ill give a serious update anyway
Pulled off scoop despite my fear of what would lie underneath (It couldn't be worse than the scoop shirley), she's pretty gnarly looks like he had two goes at getting his scoops on rofl. 18 holes down the middle from his first effort and then 4 holes on the edges to mount the scoop. Bonnet is a write off. paintwork otherwise is pretty neat, needs cut n pol. two minor dings. Adjustable coils all around, came with the wheels pictured plus 70% set of stocks, original front n rear bumper + original skirts.
Interior is not bad, clean no tears full black sports leather. only remarks is that it needs a new clip for the glovebox trim and missing a chrome slat on the heater vent.

Been fun to drive, shifts smooth clutch is noice (after market heavy duty) Short throw stick, no more oil leak (knocked price down for a leak which i resolved to the dipstick O ring) needs some sort of job on the non-existant CCV, probably just going to valve it and drain back for now (any good ideas for the CCV in these?)
My first BMW was an e30 18i '84 manual sedan, so this thing goes like the clappers for me The tower brace and stiff suspension settings throw it round corners too.
Actually I don't know shit about the interiors for these cars, basically is got full leather everything, chrome rings on cluster and chrome vents?
