Headlight adjuster repair question

Hi guys:

I am in the middle of replacing broken adjusters on a 2001 Xenon with auto leveling headlights. I went ahead and remove the front lens/cover route. Everything went well and things went back together nicely but the question I have is: when I installed the auto leveling back, the xenon light socket on the back is not centered any more. Is that something which will be fixed when the auto leveling is powered up since the light was centered prior I connected that? Should I use the adjuster to center it to some degree before wiring it up? I am just worried if the angle would too much for the new adjusters and I end up with broken ones again? I need to know if I am missing something before I touch the second one!

You do know that you can manually adjust them, right? I'm know sure if that's what you are leading into but when I rebuilt my adjusters I had to align them so that they weren't too high or too low because my car was lowered a lot. After you get them at the height you want the auto leveling system will do the rest.

I do know that but since the light is way off, and it was centered before I installed the auto leveling, I just want to be sure I am not missing anything.
