I was wondering if anyone verify whether this car has 1 or 2 knock sensors. I have found contradictory info. I believe it has 1, which I already purchased. But I want to make sure since it looks like a pain to change.

On the M-50TU and newer motors, there will always be 2, 1 for each bank. The rear one will be fun to replace as it is in a very tight spot around Cylinder 5.

That would be the best idea there. If you plan on keeping the car and don't know the condition of the starter, that too wouldn't add much time to the job, as a remanufactured BOSCH starters are the way to go.
