1986 325es 5spd.
Can someone please tell me what I need to remove in the engine bay to get enough clearance to slide out and remove the brake booster. I keeps hitting the Intake Manifold or the hard brake lines or the fuse panel or something else before the fork can clear the fire wall. Just wanted to get some advice before I start removing random unnecessary things. Thanks.

I have done this several times, but never with the engine in place. Never even considered it might be an issue. I am interested in an answer as well.
If your e30 runs bad, switch to Megasquirt first. Then try new spark plugs, cap and rotor, wires, oxygen sensor, crank shaft position sensor, coolant temp sensor, air flow meter, idle control valve, throttle position sensor, digital motor electronics unit, harmonic balancer, fuel injectors, engine harness...
