    No power on any function on the drivers door

    I have done some searching, and read some posts about the driver door control module, but My symptoms seem to go beyond that a bit.

    Driving to work I realized my power windows and mirrors weren't working from the drivers switch.
    The memory seats have also stopped working from the drivers door. And If I push the central locking button, the drivers door isn't locking. But, all the lights on the switches all light up.

    Any ideas?

    Apparently fuse 29 controls the drivers door. My car had a 20 amp in place of a 30. Replaced it. All good now

    Man! You are just finding one thing after another with that car! I am never one to say E39's are paragons of low-maintenance... but... I strongly urge you not to judge them by your example. Definitely you had some kind of funny business bad luck w/ your PO... Hopefully you're flushing out the BS....

    PS - I did just stumble across a reference that the old clusters w/ the 'piggy back IKE' indeed need a hardline for temperature vs being coded to receive temp over the bus system like the later clusters. So yeah there'd be issues w/ cluster coding and swapping on an old / early car like that.
