Pics with vert headliner removed?

So, the headliner in my car is doing all the normal things with batwings wearing out and the last clip by the back window keeps falling. I have been looking at fixing all the issues, but it starts to seem like a while new headliner might be best. On the other hand what about just removing the headliner? Has anyone else just gotten rid of the headliner?

I don't have the headliner since i bought my car. I think it's better to not have, that to have one which goes mess.
It looks like that. It doesnt look bad i think.
It don't have any issues of humidity even when the car is park under the rain all night.
