So. I have pulled, cleaned, verified and replaced suspect every exterior bulb on this car. I pulled the plug from tail lights and cleaned check that thing as well.
i even replaced the iffy rear LED side marker light at $50 which was interesting.
This cluster light will not go away. They are all 'silver' based bulbs and not copper. The power probe tool makes this process rather easy but still this somewhat annoying cluster warning is on. It is the only warning light on and I want it gone. I checked the owners manual and it simply states you have an exterior bulb out. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get this to go in to 'Control Check' to see which bulb it is?! Driving m a little nutty. I guess I could take it to dealer but for pete's sake, why would I have to do this. There has to be a way for the information to be displayed.
Any ideas or suggestions besides living with it, pulling the cluster and removing said bulb which would probably cause another check feature or a drive to the dealer?
TIA.
Dean
The car prefers copper so being all "silver" isn't a good thing.
INPA will usually tell you specifically which bulb is out. Did you check the side lamps behind the roundels in the fender?
First things first did you just put all the lights on, hazards on and walk around the car?
