e36 motor and transmission mounts - what is the easy button these days?

For a car that is not driven on the street except for to and from some events.

I have seen UUC ones that didnt fair so well.

    AKG? Condor?

I'm running akg 75d in mine. Only drive it on spirited drives and it's trailered to the track. Seem to be holding up just fine.

Bimmerworld solid rubber (group N) motor mounts and Rogue 95A tranny mounts is what i'm running. Same use case for me. I'm also running 95A diff bushings and 75D subframe bushings.

I had 75D motor/tranny mounts in my old E30 track car, no thanks.

Same here, bimmerworld and rogue with akg diff/subframe. Happy with the setup.

Forgot to add I'm also running aluminum subframe bushings and 75d everywhere else. Really not bad to drive on the street at all.

I put in Condor mounts. Not sure how they will hold up as I just got them, but they seem to be working great so far. https://www.condorspeedshop.com/ I also got their front control arm mounts and solid rear subframe bushes. (Z3) and am loving them so far.

I'm using Vibra-Technics motor mounts with Rogue trans mounts. Fantastic combo especially if you're using a chassis mounted shifter.

I wouldn't hesitate to drive this combo daily, but I do trailer to the track.

BW groupe N replica rubber motor mounts and Rogue rubber trans mounts. I would consider the e21 rubber trans mounts with aluminum cups and stock motor mounts too for a street car next time.

After sheering through a couple right-side UUC motor mounts in my E36 M3, I put in AKG 75D motor and tranny mounts but the car was not fun to drive even for short transits. I switched the tranny mounts to a set of Rogue ones I had previously bought from BW and it's a much better ride now.

Pretty much agreed. I'm using Vibra-Technics engine mounts and Bimmerworld trans mounts, after breaking a Vorshlag engine mount at Nelson Ledges. The Vorshlag engine mounts are junk IMO - why put a three inch long stud in bending and shear? Granted, Nelson is pretty much a durability test road, but still, come on.

I think a good alternative would probably be the Bimmerworld Group N replicas.

IMO avoid urethane. I think engine / trans mounts are a bad application for this good material. Many don't have problems but I did.

Group N rubber in mine too. I tried the harder stuff and the vibrations were extreme, especially on the overrun, and distracting. Instead of concentrating on racing I kept on thinking the car was breaking.
