Well, I have officially booked. I cant wait and will be counting down the days to Vintage 2017. So that makes it 4 - E32's now!
Looks like I'll need to get my camping equipment out and ready.
Abdulish
You must live pretty close to me. I am located in Eustis. I just went to the Vintage Website and count a total of 7 7's! 5 E 32's and 2 E 23's.
Might be nice if we could meet up outside the event and all park together. Just a thought.
Yes, parking together would be nice. Should we meed at the Clarion? Then we could also drive together, and it might be easier to assemble there than in Hot Springs.
Log on to motorsportreg.com, got to "My Account" and then you should find a section called "Garage" where you can add and edit cars.
Zieg,
I live in Ocoee, so I'm not far from you at all. Are you attending the Bakery Run on the 30th? I am planning on going to this one, I haven't been in a while. Just thought I'd Ask.
We should all meet up, This will be my first time going to Vintage and I wasn't sure if they organize where we park to group like-Series together or is it just where you end up is where you end up?
Since most of the hotels in Asheville are pretty much booked up, I have chosen to camp at the camp grounds, but we should definitely meet up prior to the event.
Thank you !!!
Me E30 87/ 325i + F25 12/ M-Sport + E32 94/ 740i
G/F’s E34 92/ 525iT + F48 18/ X1
I have a reservation for 3 nights at the Clarion. However my wife has been having some health issues and if she does decide to come we will try to rent the cottage in Hendersonville we rented last year if it is available. It is about 20 minutes south of the Clarion. We could still meet up at the Clarion either way.
If you have never been to this event it is VERY easy to miss people especially with multiple hotels. My suggestion is we put a cell phone listing together before the event so we can contact each other.
Abdulish I was not aware of the Bakery Run on the 30th. Which group set up the run? Do you have details.
Joanne and I are really looking forward to this years event. We have not had this many new people to meet since the MYE28 Fiver Group got together in 2008!
First and foremost spend quality time with other people that have a similar interest in Vintage BMW's. I sometimes think the best part of the event is not the show itself but the parking lot at the hotels!
There are drives set up, food to eat and beer to consume a good time is had by all.
I might attend with my 88 735iScreenshot_2017-03-09-09-23-33.jpg. 3hrs for me.
I might run up the day of - about a 2-3 hour drive for me.
Current Collection:

Zieg,
I think your idea of putting together a phone list is great and will probably work best.
Also for the Bakery run I believe it is Central Florida BMW hosted by Milla Bimmer holding the event.
I looked at the motosportsreg site and noticed the E32 isn't listed as a vintage bmw for the event.
"VINTAGE BMWs" at this event are: All pre-war BMWs, 502, 507, Isetta (300 and 600), 700, 2000, 1800, 1600, 2002, 2500, CS, Bavaria, 320, 323, e23 (1st gen. 7-series), e12 , e28 e34(1st ,2nd, and 3rd gen 5-series), e24 (6-series), all e30′s, e31 (8-series) , M1′s, and Z1 roadsters. All BMW motorcycles up to 1985.
Wondering if that's why so few ever try to register...
I mean they look it, but our cars aren't really "vintage" just yet.
'94 740IL. 7/93. Custom 2.5" exhaust, DUDMD chip, No chrome, No amber.
I mean, then couldn't someone say the e34 isn't vintage either? Both models came out around the same time. Kinda weird if the e32 was an exclusion.
I called Scott last year and it is differently a Vintage BMW and is eligible. I guess the E 32 gets no love and is the forgotten Vintage BMW so it was accidentally left off the listing. Another reason why a good showing of loved E 32's would be nice to see.
After owning 6 E 28's I have said for years that I thought the E 28 was the best car BMW ever made. BUT after 3 years of owning my 5 speed 730i I might have to change that statement! See you at the Vintage.
Abdulish I expect to be at the Bakery around 11:30 on Sunday. I will bring the E 32. See you there.
Abdulish do you have the meet up info. for the bakery run Sunday?
But if you look at the event's web site, the E32 is clearly listed in the red bar under the header image.
Today's Email from Scott Sturdy:
