    Hvac problems

1994 e34 525. Most recently and intermittently, when I select cold air from all the vents, I will get heat from the floor vents. If I shut the car off and hen restart it, it will usually resolve itself for a few weeks. Does this sound like a heater valve going bad or a stepper motor for the blend door? Thanks

I am going to guess that your heater valve is sticking open.
