    I can definitely promote the toothpaste trick for cleaning hazed light lenses. I will usually wax the lenses afterwards too, this will keep them from re-hazing for a longer period of time.

    Another trick I have found to make tire sidewalls look clean is to use whitewall tire cleaner which cleans off all of the mud and dirt, then use spray wax to finish clean/shine the surface. The result is a much more natural looking new rubber than a slimmed up coating.
