    Previous owner tried to paint the Brembo calipers but failed terribly. Paint spray on the inner shields, brake disc backing plates and other suspension parts. This time the repaint will be a little bit cleaner

    Wheel carriers needed a lot of preparation for sandblast. I wanted to protect all turned surfaces from the grit, but this was easier said than done...

    Just get your Oxy torch out and cauterize it... that will stop it!!!

    What engine do you have that bot header pipes go to the same side?

    I wanted to order new front brake protection plates, but I was glad I checked pricing before ordering. Change of plans!!!!

    New jobs on the way! Prepping calipers for paint, paint calipers, paint wheel carriers, assemble front suspension AND TEST DRIVE!!!

    You are not going to put those old rusty things back on the car are U? I would just throw away and start with new parts.
    Had to look up "cauterize". Image search not good haha.

    Engine is an M52, too small for American standard to be even offered in the 7 series. But even for the smallest of E38 engines, taxes really hurt owners. For me personally, a V8 was out of the question. Does sound awesome though...

    BMW doesn't offer the wheel carriers in dark blue
