OK I was lowering the roof and it got half way down, unfortunately I was at a set of lights and they went green. I had to pull way and I drove at 10mph for a few meters then pulled over to lower the hood.
this was the point it refused to lower by power, and it just lowered under gravity.
I tried to press the button to lower the hood but the red light just flashed.
when I got to my destination I tried raising the hood but no sound or movement.
I pulled the red lever and raised it manually, once up the latches would engage and it locked.
now it will Un latch but no motor noise and it won't lower.
is there a away it can lose its position?
also any way I can test to see if power is going to the motor?
I don't want to remove the hood unless I am sure the motor is at fault
