    2002 540iTA available soon

I will be selling my toledoblau metallic 2002 540iTA, with SPORT PACKAGE and only 85400 miles. I have owned the car since 2004. It has always been garaged at home and in my private garage at work. It hasn't been driven in salt, snow, and rarely rain. Since 2004, it has been proactively maintained, or more correctly, over maintained. As such, all oil leaks have been tended to, recent front brakes (including rotors), radiator replaced, all 4 struts in rear window and hatch replaced....etc. all records are kept in a loose leaf binder. The car runs, drives, and stops as it should...no squeaks, rattles, or other drama. Everything works except for various pixels on primarily the radio display panel. Cosmetically, the car is outstanding and none of the wheels have any sign of curb rash. Fastidiously maintained on the outside as well as the inside, the car has been driven and cared for by a now 65 year old fanatic who has owned many BMWs over the years. A clean CarFax is available (the car has NOT been in any accidents, and has not had any paint or body work except for minor rock chip touch up). I can provide an Excel file showing all significant maintenance since 2004. I am considering listing the car on BaT unless here is significant interest through alternate avenues. As much as I love this rock solid e39 and the additive sound/performance of that wonderful 4.4 liter engine, I am ready to part with the car after 13 years of stewardship to obscess over another BMW, an '84 euro e28 528i.
