    Coupe side mirrors problems

Hi all. Driver side mirror adjustment not work at all. Passenger side mirror tilt up (instead down) when I put in reverse. I have electric seats with memory. What could cause the problem and how to fix it ?

I suggest that the driver's side mirror wiring is disconnected at the mirror or the switch. The outside mirror casing comes off, have a look inside and see what you see. I think (not having done this) you pry the switch out.

Can you adjust the right side mirror? Sometimes the switch gets cr*p spilled on it and gums up; in that case several doses of contact cleaner while working the switch can restore function.

Yes I can adjust the right side mirror, but it goes UP when put in reverse. I will check the cables of left side mirror.

As I recall the control signals for the passenger mirror go through the control module for the driver’s mirror. That is, the mirrors are daisy chained. I’d fix the driver’s mirror and see what that does to the passenger mirror.

Thanks for advice. I will check the driver's mirror. I think the electric motors are blown out.
