Anyone have any data on what exhaust gas temp can/should be on the s54? This is not for tuning rather insulating the bottom of my track car. Most of thee time running north of 6500 rpm if that matters. Thanks for any info

I would be shooting from the hip on these numbers:
350-400 degrees at the cat/header
250-300 degrees at the mid pipe sections
150-200 degrees at the muffler area
Are you looking at removing the heat shields already in place, or adding more?
