New to me 2013 X3

I am about to pick up a lightly used 3.0 X3. Belonged to a friend who was going to trade it in and I offered to buy it. Her payoff on the loan was $16700 so that was all she wanted. I thought that was a fair price and agreed. Are there any issues I should be aware of or look out for specifically on this model? I have owned multiple BMWs over the years and recognize that they have there foibles, but I have full service history and everything looks good, just want to be sure I am covering all my bases.

Hi Geoff - Congrats of the new ride - although this is coming from a friend, I would still highly recommend getting a full PPI report. Which model is this? 28i or the 35i?

Its the 35i. My brother let me drive his 1M with the dealer tune and I was hooked...

That's awesome man - the 1M is a beast of a car. My daily is a 135i, not quite as extreme; but def still a very fun ride.

So they decided to keep the X3 and sell the slightly older X5 35i...the wife took it for a test and loved it. Guess what is sitting in my driveway. Not quite the rocket I had hoped for but certainly a better fit for my wife...
