E46 M3 or RX7 S54 Swap

Hey guys,

Alright. For once I am looking for strong and hard ended opinions so tell me what's up. I am looking for a new daily sports car. My commute is rather high speed in my boosted e30(I average 85 mph) and I am looking for a way to have fun in something a bit more modern. I am looking at a manual hardtop E46 M3 which I can get for around 15k in a good color like Imola Red II or Interlagos Blue. That being said, I did test drive a Z4M and am now considering spending around 20 grand to buy an RX7 FD3S shell and have an S54 put into it with a few other goodies. I have never seen this swap done before but I also don't really care about expenses. I know the M3 weighs ~3400lbs and an RX7 with this swap would be just around 2700lbs, maybe less. I have read that the S54 is lighter than a 13b REW. I am looking to have the ultimate daily and weekend warrior.

Go for the fd rx7 because it is a much rarer car than the m3 and it is a beautiful car also there are as many if not more aftermarket parts for the fd than the m3
