Looking forward to see some great shots of cars darting through some of the medium-high speed turns in mid-section. Pit stop timing are going to be crucial. We may see two pit stops. If I'm not mistaken right front tyre wears faster at this track.

    TBD
Left front tire limited, I think. Turns 1&2, 8, and 12&13 are especially demanding on the left front.

The long straights will see who has the best PUs (if everyone's running similar DF levels).

    Looking forward to the GP.

Anyone know the tire choices for this weekend?

Yeah, I wonder how long is it going to take for someone to make a pass on the long straight.

    Medium, soft, supersoft.

I'm sure McLaren (who should've stayed with Merc power) are dreading this race.

I think I remember Alonso saying that Mclaren-(who should've stayed with Merc power)-Honda are going to get new PU (or big updates) come fourth race.

That long straight is going to be brutal for McLaren (which should have kept Mercedes power). They are going to get passed like they're just standing still. I hope Honda can get their ish together soon, because waiting until the 4th or 5th race isn't doing anyone any good.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet. But Liberty Media is killing it in the F1 app and on Youtube right now. 2-3 videos/day. Lots of old footage from prior years races and lots of recap and interviews.

    Really?

Will have to check it out. Some of the 'official' season review videos from prior years were outstanding. Never understood why FOM was so aggressive about ensuring those videos were snuffed out.

Love the fact that Liberty Media has eased off the media restrictions -so many drivers doing live feeds on various social media platforms and posting it out there, the atmosphere in the paddock definitely feels a lot more relaxed it seems. So much media roll outs from official F1 channel too, the drivers press conferences, the team principle conferences, various you tube channels are not being banned anymore for showing F1 content. Its a refreshing change.

Classic? Haha. Good dice though. It's hilarious to see all the whiners in the comments.

Hard to go extremely classic with the Chinese GP considering it's only been around since 2004.

So apparently Wehrlein is having trouble with the "fitness" part of F1 2017. Won't be back until possibly Sochi.

Sounds like a more severe neck or some sort of TBI type injury.

Good qualifying session. In for another and hopefully a close battle between silver arrows and the prancing horse. I bet Vettel will take the first turn and lead from there. Just a hunch ....

I was amused by Alonso's statement that he "drove like an animal" (although he clearly did to vault his McLaren---who should've stayed with Merc power---into Q2). Someone's been listening to his fellow Spaniard's radio transmissions from Australia....

That was a decent race to watch, though I'm not happy about Hammy winning. A great drive by young Max; a disappointing retirement for Alonso.

Alright race. Some good overtakes and a heroic drive by Max (again).

I'm starting to think that maybe Bottas isn't all he's cracked up to be. Certainly not anywhere near Hamilton's (or even Rosberg's) level. Not sure whether that's a raw talent thing or just a seat time thing.

I wasn't the only one who heard the Merc pit wall give instruction to "Nico," right?
