Hello,
I am new here, from europe.
few weeks a go i bought my 1992year 735i, automatic gearbox.
I had read a lot of problems and issues in this forum about my story, but i can`t find the problem.
mybe some one can help?
Okay lets go
First off all cruise control doesnt work, i plugged the pc, to car pc, no errors about abs sensors ...
asc works, but after going about on 80km/h my car is twitching, vibrates. , but when i turn off the asc , then drives good, no vibrates utt.
then, obc dont show average fuel consuption. pressing the verbr button, always looks like this picture here > http://bildites.lv/a/jwbmp72d#eccs5ekz
Interesting:but when i set the 1000+10, code 3- Current consumption in litres/hour - it works fine, about 12-15 litres, but when i enter code 2- Cur.Consup in litres/100km,then shows failure ---, like presing the obc verbr and shows ---.
Range usually shows 58km left, and ---, okay when i have 20-30 litres in tank, then shows 200km-300km, works fine, but when i think i got about 10 litres then only show 58km. picture here> http://bildites.lv/a/2hn396a8#uq5cjwk6
I have a electronic acceletor, if that means smth. Pic > http://bildites.lv/a/cxcgqauv#5yvv8ay4
i had checked all fuses, under seat too.
So any suggestions?
i know these things dont give problems to drive, but if i have these extras, i want to fix it,
Big thanks.

OBC + cruise control: is the speedometer working? http://www.bmwe34.net/E34main/Mainte...eed_sensor.htm

Yeah speedo is working, but sometimes wipers are bouncing just like in your posted link page- gif.
Maybe you clean first the speed sensor and check the wire contacts on the speed sensor. If that does not help, we will continue with more checking

You can easily fix your speedo buttons.
Just remove your Instrument Cluster and open the clamshell and remove the rubber contacts that are depressed by the buttons. Rub the rubber contact surface clean on fine sandpaper (like a pencil eraser) and then re-install. Now it makes a solid contact and your repair is a success.
The trouble was just an insulating oxide film on the surface of the contact. This can happen after some 20 years.

check the instrument cluster coding chip, if that is the same as your can VIN, here you see some samples of the coding plug with VIN http://www.exx.se/maintenance/instru...34/index.shtml
because the coding plug contains among other things also data on number of engine cylinders (4,6,8,12) and calculates accordingly

Thanks for answer, but website doesnt work.
The website is currently not available
here is another one showing the coding chips http://bmwe32.masscom.net/johan/299960/299960.html

Does your EML light come on when you start the car?
I'd also check the resistance of the 4x ABS sensors even though it doesn't show any codes.
