    Wheel question

I have searched threads and can't seem to find an answer. I have a 2006 330i and I'm looking to get a set of winter wheels. The stamping on the inside of the wheel is 8Jx17 with 34mm offset. I am looking at a set of BMW rims that are listed as coming off of a 2001 3 series and the stamp reads 7Jx17 with an offset of 47mm. Will these fit without issue? My thoughts that with the wheel being narrower the offset won't change much...? I apologize if this has been posted before. Thanks in advance for your help.

The e46 wheels will fit an e90 almost perfectly. Because the e46 wheels are an inch narrower, this counteracts the offset.

Well...... I test fit the wheels yesterday while doing an oil change. Looks like I am going to need spacers for them. The inside of the wheel comes in contact with the caliper . Now the search begins for spacers. I am wondering if I should go with 12mm or 15mm spacers??? If I go with 12 that will bring me to 35mm offset, my stock wheels are 34mm. Thanks in advance for your help.
