I have a 2013 Touareg TDI with Malone Stage 2 tune,(25 PSI) DPF delete, DEF delete, and 2nd Cat delete. It certainly has some great torque under 3000 RPM, but the HP drops off pretty hard after that. I doubt I've got 340 hp....and I certainly don't have anything close to the amount of smoke shown in the above dyno video.

Well Malone certainly claims that, Stage 1 is 319 bhp even... that said would be interesting to have your Touareg on a Dyno (I know that's probably not an option for you given where you're at, easily anyway) to see what it actually does put out.

As for the smoke, I think it's stupid/ridiculous... I would never want to drive something that does that, it makes a mess of your car and it looks like it's broken. I'd gladly give up some power to not have it smoke like a diesel from 1990.

Depends on weather, even on stock run flats it hooks up decently well in 2nd gear.
I have some sticky tires on the way.
Amazing daily, lots of torque off the bat and I can get over 40mpg if I baby it on the hwy.

M57 uses compound turbos, good torque down low with very good power up in the higher RPM.

I can reduce the smoke greatly by setting JBD to lowest setting and turning off meth, takes all of 30 seconds to do both. That puts me to around 400bhp. Turning up JBD and Meth gets me another 70-80hp easily, and that's when it starts pouring smoke.
It also only smokes under hard acceleration, otherwise runs super clean.

I don't have any smoke either, unless I floor it and run over 3000 RPM. Under 3000 RPM, even at heavy loads, the exhaust is pretty clean.

This is my daily driver, I haven never used nitrous yet at all before.
I was on the fence even doing meth injection, but it's pretty cheap to refill and easy, so I went for it. Otherwise I need to focus more on my actual projects and not my daily beater.

I second the nitrous. Also what's your egt look like? The richer you run diesel the higher the egt
