    Talking Greetings from Nairobi, Kenya

This is my first time on the bimmerfest forum.

I bought a 1993 BMW E34 520i yesterday from my friend. He's owned it since 2008 and I am very excited to keep the car in the family.

Looking forward to learn more about the E34's.

Yes it is, though I intend on changing to somewhat a lighter color, say beige or amaro brown....yet to decide...still getting used to her

Hey nice looking e34 there. Guess there is not much of a BMW culture there but in South Africa they are bmw mad so parts and stuff should be reasonably accessible.

Yes, in Kenya the culture is not that strong as South Africa....parts are readily available from South Africa, not locally....

As for the interior, I bought it as it is.....the work done for the interior was a pretty sloppy job and I intend on changing it......it looks bad believe me.

Lemme show you what I intend to have.

Wide armrests! I've only seen them on cars in Africa for some reason. Where can I get some?

There's an unusual stitching pattern in those tan back seats, like two extra rows between the cushions. Another custom job, or African-market-only, or...?

Apparently that's the stock interior that came with the car. I can have a look around and get back to you then we can pick from there
