Hello all. I'm considering purchasing the above mentioned x5 diesel that has very low miles of 19k for my wife. It's out of warranty, which is concerning. I priced out a few warranties and the costs are outrageous. The SAV is in excellent shape. With that said, is this a good deal? And if so, is it even worth buying the warranty? I have plenty of skilled bimmer mechanics in my area. I would appreciate your insights. Thanks!
At first look that seems like a great deal - maybe a little too good. Definitely get a full PPI report beforehand and see if you're able to have the codes read. As I'm sure you're aware, the car could look amazing on the outside but be a disaster under the hood. A warranty isn't a bad idea, since it's a turbo model and maintenance can and will be higher than with a NA motor. Hope this helps and best of luck!

Don't by a diesel, the engine design is way more complicated. Don't buy it
