    1995 325i e36 dash light

So this light comes on after I drive for about 20 min and I can't really find anything on it. Does anyone know what the fault is that makes this pop up?

That would be the traction control light, and last I checked the 95 325i didn't have it.

But I would like to know if you have a button down by the shifter with ACS+T on it.

'95 325 definitely could get ASC - based on build date.

and, yup, that's the ASC or traction control light.
it means the system has been disabled for some reason - you'll need to read codes from the ASC/traction control computer to figure out why its not happy.

oh, yes - good point dworthy! you should have a button down by the shifter or gear selector - it'll say ASC+T or something like that - if pressing it does nothing to the light then you'll need to scan for codes.
i will say, in my many years of e36 ownership, etc. if the light comes on by itself after a period of time driving odds are there's an issue and it needs a code scan, etc.

for a '95 - i'd go to a good BMW shop (independent) and have them read the codes. if this is an automatic, the EGS computer should be scanned as well. Heck, have all computers scanned - on this car there's only going to be a few that can provide codes.

this can also be done with INPA, or a GT-1, or a SnapOn MT2500 with the BMW cartridge and BMW adapter. getting the codes read at the shop though wouldn't cost much - most would charge 30 minutes or 1 hour shop time to do that.

It's a manual and no it doesn't have a ACS+T button by the shifter.

Okay then, out of curiosity, is there a red dot next to the mileage reading?

How long have you had the car, and how long have you seen that warning light?

(Try turning the steering wheel full left, then full right....did the light go away?)

No ABS or "Brake" warning lights ?

No red dot next to the mileage.
I've had the car for a year now and I've been seeing it for two days now after I drive for about 20 min
No other lights are coming on but that one

The guy I got it off of didn't say anything of the sorts about the ASC.

Vin check shows asc+t was installed on this car.
So, if there's no button present I can only guess someone modified that system in some way.
A further guess is that whatever method used to make the computer happy stopped working.

Just a question. Perhaps fit a spare wheel and the tire size is different from the rest?

Well I would say that the fix would be to just remove the bulb and put the dash back in.
