Today I noticed a gap in my drivers window when all the way up. Turns out the rear window was not fully extending. After making the obvious checks, I grabbed the rear window and pulled it forward. It made a slight clunk and popped into place. Now the front window seals properly...
So the question is; is there an adjustment that can to be made to insure the rear window always returns to it's proper place?
In searching for an answer, I've seen where on some models it's possible to "reset" the window levels, however I believe that has to do with how the front windows automatically drop 1/2 inch when you open the door... Or will this work for the rears as well?
Thanks for you input.

Hello - it may have to do with the window regulator going bad/faulty. Check out the link below for a DIY fix.

Thanks for the tip Dmitry, I feared it may be the regulator. Fortunately I've replaced many a BMW window regulators. That said, the rear window in a convertible seems to be a different beast all together. Does Pelican have any tech article on the rear window replacement in coupes, ideally convertibles?

Unfortunately we do not have a tech article on the rear window, but in that case; I would suggest posting a Comment under the tech article I linked you to (front window regulator) and asking how the process for the rear window differs. These questions go to our master tech, who can hopefully give you some insight into the issue. Hope this helps and best of luck!
