    Overheating 99 323ic

I'm overheating and at low rev's its stuttering. I think its the thermostat but cant confirm sins my climate control fan doesnt work to see if it has heat. How else can i tell and how else can I bleed the system? Im replacing the thermostat today but want to find out if it could be the water pump.
