Stripped rear strut mounting hole:options? (M44)

My rear right M12 x 1.5 strut mounting hole is stripped and I've tried to re-shave the hole but it failed.
I can't torque it to 77Nm, the M12 bolt just spins endlessly without much resistance after bolt reaches the end of the hole.
I've test driven it and thankfully the bolt doesn't seem to come out but I'm concerned that this would fail during track work.

So, I've been looking and there's CL20 (6 cylinder) right and left struts on auction and I'm thinking of purchasing:

But, I don't know if the trailing arm fitment is bolt in. Does anyone have a reliable fix for this issue?

Trailing arms for 6 Cylinder cars are wider than for a pre-facelift 4 cyl so are no good to you in this instance.

I think it'd be much easier to install a time-sert and never have to worry about it again.

i bought the kit as you suggested, but is it possible to create 35mm of hole with time sert? It says 1.5D for the depth but I don't know what this means.

Do not use a heli-coil. It will not last. Timesert or replace the arm.

I see. Do you happen to know the length of the timesert for this hole?

10, 14, 20, 24, 30. Lots of choices. I would think the 20 would be plenty, but would actually measure the hole first.
