One day, the car wouldn't start. I assumed it was a dead battery. I attempted to jump it to no avail. I did a little reading, and tried unplugging a single clip/wire that is connected to the battery (I was told that it disabled some sort of immobilizer). Boom! Fired right up. Ever since then, my seatbelt and airbag light have been on. It drives just fine. Also, the weight sensor in the seat seems to function very well, as it beeps to let you know when the passenger isn't wearing a seatbelt. Any advice would be greatly appreciated; thanks!

Welcome to the Forum!
Well you are going to need to pull codes from the SRS computer to see why it isn't happy. Also you can check the fuses to ensure all the ones for the airbag are not blown.

Thank you, dworthy! I've had a handful of BMWs, but most of them were older, and didn't have as much computer controlled stuff as this one, haha. The fuses are good. Can you send me a link to a, "how-to" on how to pull the code? Thanks!

Well it would be hard to link in a dealership or a Independent euro workshop.
The other option if you have an older laptop google INPA.

You may also likely need a specialized SRS tool to pull the codes and clear them. SRS codes usually have to be explicitly cleared by a tool. They don't just clear themselves when error conditions are resolved. Try googling E90BMW SRS tool. I own the $14 Yellow and blue cheap tool that has served me well the few times I have needed it for dying seatbelt receptacles and forgotten occupancy sensor connections when moving seats.
