e39 opinion pleas

Hey guys, haven't posted in a while but I do have a few questions. To start off I started getting into being an auto technician, I used to own a 98 528i and I miss the heck out of that car. I just spotted another 528i that I want to buy but it has electrical problems. I was thinking of swapping a s52 motor into it and wanted to get some tips if anyone knows if it would be worth
It or not. I really want to be back in a e39. Thanks guys

Changing the engine on your own without help will be a pain in the ass, too much knowledge is needed. Also considering that you want to engine swap a car that is already having problems with electronics, I would find a cheaper car with the engine you need and try revive that one, seems a better option in my eyes

As for feasibility it's a pretty easy swap if you know what you're doing. But, if you haven't worked on cars a lot, or been a tech for YEARS I would not recommend doing it "all by yourself".
