OBD1 TB on an OBD2 Engine

Will an OBD1 throttle body work on an OBD2 engine? What's needed?

OBD1 TB on an OBD2 Engine

Yeah it will. You'd need a obd1 manifold to make it seal though. And youll need the whole obd1 assembly including the little arm and all.

I have an obd1 manifold. Will the TPS, throttle cable and cruise control cable all work?

Tps, yes. Throttle yes. Cruise, unsure. I can take some pictures of a pair side by side for you to compare tomorrow.

Here's a thread with some good pics of an OBD1 TB:

Here's one with 1 pic of an OBD2:

And another pic of an OBD2:

I think you might need to change the throttle cable and maybe the Cruise control cable.

But I'll sell the TB to you for a good price.

I have an obd2 motor in an obd1 car. Obd1 manifold and throttle body. The TPS works on an obd1 dme but never tried it on obd2 dme. Cruise works fine but I may have swapped the cruise assembly for another one. I cant remember but they are cheap and I didnt do any electrical work just cable routing.
