Schuh Syndikat 2017- Registration is OPEN

Online registration is now open for Schuh Syndikat 2017 at schuhsyndikat.org

For the few that may not know.. Schuh Syndikat is an East Coast (USA) gathering of E36/8 Z3 and M Coupes. 2017 marks year #6 of the event. "Schuh" takes place in and around Charlotte, North Carolina. The basic formula is.. We drive. We eat. We park a little. Take a ton of photos. We talk $#!*. Then give away some cool stuff, then wonder how the weekend went by so fast.

One major development for 2017 is support from my local BMW Store.. Hendrick BMW Northlake. They've rolled out the red carpet for us, and we have some very special stuff happening.

Here's a summary of the long weekend schedule.. For a more detailed description, and full hotel information- take a look at schuhsyndikat.org

Thursday May 4: We meet in Asheville, NC. Those arriving around noon may get the chance to take a little drive on local roads. We take dinner near the hotel.

Friday May 5: We make a Early start on the now famous "Prelude Drive". We make a spirited run on some of the best driving roads in Appalachia, winding our way toward Charlotte. At 3:00PM, we have an exclusive invitation to visit the Hendrick Heritage Center. This is Rick Hendricks personal collection of Rare Automobiles and automobilia. A $25 donation Per Person to the Hendrick Foundation is required. This made possible by the Hendrick Organization. Following the tour, we head to our event hotel in Charlotte for Car Washes and Pizza in the Parking lot, Courtesy of ZSCCA.

Saturday May 6: Another Early Start to make Charlotte Cars and Coffee. From there we head to a group photo location. At Noon, we arrive at Hendrick BMW Northlake for the "BMW Summit"- a public BMW meet complete with a food truck vendors, test drives, Demos and more. Thanks to BMW North America and the BMW Performance Center, the Last Z3/M Coupe produced will be on display. Saturday evening, we return to the dealership for a real Carolina BBQ dinner provided compliments of Hendrick BMW Northlake. We do our awards and giveaways before heading back to our Hotel for traditional parking lot shenanigans.

Sunday May 7: We debrief over breakfast, then head for home.

Right now you need two Important dates:
- April 4: Hotel deals expire, so get those rooms reserved!
- April 21: Register by this date to ensure your inclusion in the tour of the Hendrick Heritage Center on Friday May 5th. You can of course still register at a later date for the rest of the event. However, I am required to submit the guest list in advance. If you don't pre-register, you may be waiting in the parking lot for us to complete the tour.

I went to this in 2015 and had a great time. Missed last year (retired, sold 2 houses, moved to Florida) so am looking forward to this one.

Saturday, April 22nd is the last day to register to be sure you make the list for Friday's Hendrick Heritage Center tour. You can still register right up to the event, but you'll be playing parking lot security while we take the tour on Friday afternoon.

Some more details on Saturdays BMW Summit presented by Hendrick BMW Northlake:
- Hendrick BMW Northlake is pulling some strings to bring in some special BMW's just for this show..
- New BMW test drives will be happening
- As I write this, we're finalizing transport arrangements for the transport of the last E368 M Coupe to the dealership.
- Saturday nights Carolina BBQ Dinner is provided courtesy of Hendrick BMW Northlake (who doesn't like free BBQ?)

This is the year- registration is brisk, but there's always room for YOU.. Bring out your Coupe. (Or any BMW really) - you'll be welcomed.. -Eric

Just saw this today. I have a Roadster, not a Coupe, and I don't know if I can be there, but would like to because my '01 Z3 was originally sold by Hendrick BMW in Charlotte.

Yep, it was shipped to the dealer that hosted us. Very cool to see, we took a group photo with it actually. I'm sure more pics will pop up sooner or later. Mark from Ultimate Klasse was there covering the event and he hasn't posted anything quite yet.
